DUSK PHOTOWALK, ARDWICK, MANCHESTER
SATURDAY JAN 24TH 4.30PM
Join me, Not Quite Light, in Ardwick on Saturday January 24th at 4.30pm for the next in my series of my very popular dusk photowalks, the first of 2026.
This time we’ll be exploring the fascinating area around the famous Manchester Apollo in Ardwick, Manchester. Not only is the area home to this venue, the surrounding streets provide a delicious glimpse into the city’s history and evolution over the decades.
Whatever your experience, you’re welcome to join, and bring whatever recording device you feel comfortbale with. Some people bring smartphones, some DSLRs, some film cameras. Some people don’t bring any device at all, they simply enjoy slowing down, and experiencing the city in a more mindful way, noticing the details that create such a wonderful and rich story of Manchester.
The walk is scheduled to last up to 90 mins, but it’s very informal and we just go with the flow. I’ll be on hand to provide any tips you need.
The photowalks offer the chance for a safe, group experience of wandering areas of the city that might not feel as comfortable if by yourself.
Limited spaces available, as I like the groups to be no more than 10 participants.
