Twilight photowalk around Castlefield Basin
10 places max £12 ( + £1 booking fee )
Join Not Quite Light for a twilight walk around one of Manchester’s most famous industrial landmarks, Castlefield Basin. The rea is a meeting point of canals and railway lines. It is a crucible place within the city, with the first Roman settlements nearby. The architecture is astonishing, and it’s impossible not to marvel at the structures built by our Mancunuian ancestors. We’ll gently explore the photogenic magnificence of this area, observing the wonderful details that make the place such an atmospheric and visual delight. I’ll be on hand to offer iadea, hints and tips using all my NQL experience!
The walk is suitable for anyone, at all levels of photography. You can bring cameras, smartphones or no recording device at all if you simply want to enjoy the atmosphere of twilight.
Meet by the lift and stairs below the NT Gardens, on the corner of Bridgewater Street M3 4NH
