SWINTON TWILIGHT PHOTOWALK FRIDAY JANUARY 17TH, 4.15PM – 6.00PM

Join me on this twilight photowalk, that takes us through the old terraced streets of Swinton, down to the shopping precinct and finishing with a view of the historic Civic Centre building, where there will be an incredible installation showing called Swinton Ark. Created by projection artists Illuminos, this unique sound and light show is in direct response to Swinton and its residents – featuring personal stories gathered by artist Lowri
Evans. The entirety of the former town hall building’s 70 metre facade will come alive with bespoke 3d mapped animation, and specially composed
music and sound.

Join me for a fascinating walk, soaking up the history of Swinton, which has so much to offer, having been home to LS Lowry, and Tony Warren ( the creator of Coronation Street ).

The walk is a gentle, meditative wander. You can bring any recording device you want, or even none at all if you just want to experience the town as the sun sets.

The walk is for 18 and over, unless accompanied by an adult. Places are limited, and booking is essential.
