Gathering Points takes us on a journey through the town of Swinton, allowing us to learn more about the people that live there.

For the past few months artist Not Quite Light has been filming five places in Swinton where people come together, and share their time and stories. The venues are The Hive Cafe in Victoria Park, The Valley Community Gardens, The Parade Chippy, Nail Studio Swinton and The Grand Palais.

The premiere of the film takes place at The Grand Palais, Swinton to open the Not Quite Light weekend 2024, with a Q&A with the people that took part, and an afterparty to the tunes of the Grand Palais provided by Palais owner Steve Johnson .
