Join Not Quite Light for a twilight walk around the fascinating area of Cheetham Hill, which is now in the spotlight for regeneration. The district is a mixture of eclectic businesses and

architecture, an edgeland space on the cusp of transition. It’s certainly very photogenic, with Strangeways to the city side and decaying buildings to the north, bordering streets with enigmatic names such as Empire Street. Sunset is at 21.04, and you can often see the sun fall as you make your way through the area.

The walk is suitable for anyone, at all levels of photography. You can bring cameras, smartphones or no recording device at all if you simply want to enjoy the atmosphere of twilight.
