TWILIGHT PHOTOWALK
THE MEADOW & PEEL PARK, SALFORD
THURSDAY SEPT 25TH 6.45pm ( sunset is at 6.59pm )
Join me for what will be a magical twilight photowalk around the Meadow and Peel Park, as the sun sets across this beautiful green space in the city.
Although in the heart of the city, it’s possible to feel apart from it here, surrounded by nature. The Irwell weir can be heard, and birds fill the nearby trees with their eveming songs. Sometimes at this time of year, the start of Autumn, a mist drifts in off the river.
The walk is gentle, giving us permission to slow down and observe the details around us. We’ll meet at the small car park on Meadow Road, wander into the meadow and then, as the lights come on, cross over the Irwell and into Peel Park.
The walk is suitable for any level of experience. Bring any device you wish – smartphone, DSLR, film camera, or even no device at all if you simply wish to peacefull stroll and enjoy the atmosphere and chat with the others on the walk.
I will be on hand to offer tips and suggestions for photographs in a space I know well from making many visits over the years.
