Join Not Quite Light for a twilight walk around Media City and Salford Quays, where as the sun sets to the west, behind the BBC buildings, the water is lit by shimmering lights and neon. It’s a beguiling scene, and we’ll explore the best way to capture the various viewpoints as we make our way around this brilliant regeneration site. The nearly full moon will have risn at 19.40, so if we’re lucky with the weather we’ll be able to see it rise into the night sky as the daylight fades.

The walk is suitable for anyone, at all levels of photography. You can bring cameras, smartphones or no recording device at all if you simply want to enjoy the atmosphere of twilight. There are plenty of bars locally if you fancy a drink after the walk.
